I am Alex

Hi there!

I am a hobbyist photographer from Italy but have been based in Hong Kong since 1999.

I have a career in animal conservation, hence my early passion for wildlife and underwater photography. Too many are the people to thank, who have inspired me since I was a child. Respect for your subject and humanity are my lessons from them.

My photographic interests changed and expanded in the latest years. With more travelling to developing countries, I became more drawn to cultures and people who tell many stories and tales. Nepal, Bali, Vietnam and Cambodia unleashed a whole range of photographic opportunities and exposure to local cultures.

Finally, more recently, fine art architecture and infrared photography opened up a new world where I could fully express my creativity and imagination.

Photography has been a fantastic roller coaster of emotions and experiences and I look forward to discovering more.
